Benjamin Waller taught as an English as a Second Language (ESL) teacher in the AMEP program both at the Canberra Institute of Technology (CIT) and AMES in Victoria for over a decade. He is currently an education designer at CIT and is working in a team, leading the Innovative Learning Resources project as part of CIT’s Strategic Compass 2020 initiative.
Ben has a Graduate Diploma in Secondary Education in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and Languages Other Than English (LOTE) Vietnamese, qualifications. His passion for language teaching, eLearning and instructional design has enabled him to develop innovative online courses for CIT with a focus on consistent and functional course design to facilitate enhanced learner engagement and rich learning experiences.
